About Soopura
Soopura began with sensitivity — the kind that makes a room's scent unbearable, turns an ordinary soap aisle into a minefield, and makes something as simple as washing your hands feel like a decision.
Soopura began with Cinthia — and in many ways, Soopura is Cinthia.
She spent years reading labels she couldn't pronounce, buying something that seemed fine, then finding the next one different. Fragrance-free, that wasn't. Gentle that wasn't. A list of twenty ingredients, where four would do.
Eventually, she stopped looking and started making.
The first bars were simple because simplicity was the point. Olive oil. Coconut oil. Water. Lye. Nothing else, because nothing else needed to be there.
Soap should be quiet and dependable.
Not loud. Not complicated. Not performative.
Every bar we make is rooted in intention and restraint. Short ingredient lists: no added fragrance, no colorants, no botanicals. Everything on the label is something you can find in the box.
Soopura is for the fragrance-sensitive.
For minimalists, overthinkers, and anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed by "normal" personal care.
It's for the small moments — washing your hands, starting the day, winding down.
It's soap. That's the point.
How We Make Soopura
We run a written process, and we follow it every time.
Everything is weighed to the gram — oils, lye, liquid. Temperatures are checked before anything is combined. Nothing is estimated.
The soap is poured into loaf molds, set overnight, then cut to a fixed width. Every bar, same size.
Then it cures — six weeks minimum. That's the slowest step, and the one we protect. Curing can't be shortened without hurting the bar, so we don't shorten it.
Every batch has a number and a log: formula, pour date, cut date, and release date. We can trace any bar back to the batch it came from.
We make soap in small batches in Bellingham, Washington, using controlled, SOP-driven manufacturing. Capacity is limited on purpose — we'd rather grow the process than cut corners.
Soopura soap is currently in its production phase and is not yet offered for sale.
Soopura-branded accessories — including soap savers, washcloths, and carry bags — are a separate product line. They are made in China, and are imported and sold by CurioCrate LLC, an affiliate of Soopura LLC under common ownership. All accessories carry accurate country-of-origin labeling.
